Balance// States Of Equilibrium
Performance - Machines - Video
Different states of coexistence exist in mutual balance, power relations. Equivalent values come together and stay aligned together.
4 different systems that offer different relationships are in
balance in an ideal System.
If the balance is disturbed, the alignment is lost, the balance ends, the system ends. Observable unity is presented to the audience with 4 different stories.
1) Scale:
A pumpkin fiber is watered once every ?? hours with a tankard. Until the water runs out, the watering continues from one to the other.
3) Fountain:
Two bidet fountains are filled with an equal amount of water. The water motor takes the water from its container and transfers it to the other. Ideally, the system should run at the same speed. If the water runs out, the engine burns in one, first one, then the other.
3)Rack
Two mops are tied to each other with a stretched clothesline. Water-filled barrels are placed on the mops to keep the system in balance.
Two Loincloths are hung on the rope then two Buckets are filled with water and placed under them. Fabrics that remain in water become wet and heavy overtime.
4) Tower
A tower of newspapers is placed in a basin. Watered with 1 cups of water every ?? hours. What happens after a while?
